Beyond being saved
fools try to catch
the rubble falling
from this shit mountain
to put it back together
gnomes complacent
stuck in soft duties
with firm hands
gripping loosely from them
running rampant
with their own agendas
Watch as
another assistant
tries to tolerate
the shit handed at them
gift wrapped
in a basket
like they asked for it
Sure they'll try
but they'll die
career suicide
you can't ever escape
the nightmare store
without calling
it quits
Beyond being saved
share my spate
of the many who
have been slain
by the misery
of 511
others complain
that my laughter
in the over confidence
of others to
purge these pure
negatives
but I look at patterns
Watch as
another assistant
quits two weeks
into their shift
and others lament
how I expect
too little of them
and not how
I see how
repentant
it has become
Sure they'll try
but they'll die
career suicide
you can't ever escape
the nightmare store
without walking
out before
Beyond being saved
firing everyone
is the only solution
but others are compulsive
to continue slinging
another victim
to the fires
of this furnace
to douse it out
bosses fear
as I smile in the denial
of those over compensating
their quality to the quantities
of shit spilled over
this convenience store
doesn't help they
overestimated their bounds
misery loves company
Sure they'll try
but they'll die
career suicide
you can't escape
the nightmare store
until you take
the keys and cry
Sure they'll try
but they'll die
career suicide
I've learned to gape
my standards lower
to anyone going
to the nightmare store
because they're
never coming back
Beyond being saved
and yet everyone hates
when I say it plain
it's evident
it's obvious
no amount of confidence
or obliviousness
will suffice the slow death
this store is receiving
i look at the pattern
it's been repeating
too complacent
too safe in this space
no assistant
of any quality
could save this nightmare store
it is beyond being saved.

I guess it's wrong for me to laugh at those who are too confident in a position that is sure to be the 'death' of them. Fuck them.
