USSR

The World is a stage,
the performers are abstract figures of countries,
taking place in the beautiful age of
Leave it to Beaver and the Beetles.

Germany is looking good in her iron curtain
while Russia, glowing Red, hugs her tightly from behind
And America couldn't be more jealous
flaunting their colors much better than her.

America has stars in her eyes
and stripes covering her naughty bits
McCarthy, her agent, swooned by her composure
bangs her in the backstage dressing room.

McCarthy loves her but America thinks he gets a little paranoid
dreaming of the day Russia will come to get him
when a hi or hello passes by his way
he retorts on a pedestal of God, saying,

“There is a USSR in the US!
Yes, you and us, in our glorious US!
Lenin's soldiers will have us by the throats!
'Cause of the USSR in the US!”

America asks McCarthy to calm down,
Germany comforts Russia as she's crying, insulted,
China, Vietnam and North Korea are not amused,
America quietly takes McCarthy out for some UN.

America is concerned for McCarthy's health,
but he says that Russia wants to get the best of her on-stage,
America can't disappoint McCarthy, her admonishment to Russia
has left her fumed and wanting to beat her on the floor.

So she does her best with improving her talent,
in her right hand a hammer to set her foundation,
and in her left a sickle to cut the competition,\
disabling the means of production with her proud chant,




“There is a USSR in the US!
Yes, the US! The commies won't get the best of us!
Their clothes and their style is outrageous!
There won't be a USSR in my US!”

So America and Russia fight passive aggressively,
trying to beat one another in a international arms race
America's arms slim and sexy,
Russia's arms muscular and athletic.

America comes at Russia with atom bomb hair,
Russia's hairlines tied into Jupiter missiles inspired by Cuba,
when Vietnam lends Russia a hand in her boutique,
America goes guerilla warfare on her.

Soon the world fears for war,
McCarthy is nowhere to be seen with America,
he did what he need to make her just like him,
just as paranoid and delusional,
so it isn't like she needs him now,
she fucked herself clean
and bled her eyes out
nothing but black orifices
filled with the vein sense
of hysteria that someday
Russia will get her and everybody
and when she has these random fits of rage
towards Afghanistan and Iran
know that she is doing so
because she believes that

The USSR is in the US,
Yes, you and us, become our own traitors,
the enemy sits right in front of us,
Anyone, Everyone, is the USSR to us!
