You're SPECIAL - Velvet Remedy VS Morning Glory by Somethingguy912 You're SPECIAL - Velvet Remedy VS Morning Glory by Somethingguy912
Finally, it's time yet again to pin the lucky ladies of these protagonist's entourage, who both just happen to be equally at odds in terms of attributes and their main functions: as medics. What's also strange is that both of them sport a first and last name unlike any of the characters that I've done so far, which made the whole text name thing somewhat difficult at first.

This particular YOU'RE SPECIAL brought some small but important tweaks to the placement of the attributes. Being the dummy I am, I totally forgot about center alignment about each individual numeric, which would helped with my dyslexic or meticulous attitude to certain numbers not looking as aligned as others. The SPECIAL bar itself is also spaced somewhat farther, to compensate for the changes I made to use different blocks of numbers as a makeshift ruler so that the numbers would also be vertically centered too. I really should've done some more technical work into making sure everything looked neat. The Names still look off, not to mention the sub-title. BEfore I begin my lengthy explanation, to give credit where credit is due, The Velvet Remedy vector came from Brisineo the mastermind of all great vectors to be borrowed, it seems. The morning glory vector is from DotRook , and the color samples came respectfully from both vectors, which complimented each other quite well here (I didn't know if I wanted to use the charcoal color or the red line for Remedy, but since Steelhoove's Charcoal looked bad and there are already 2 Characters that inheret Red in their mane, Yellow was the best option)

STRENGTH: (BOTH) Both ponies stack evenly in terms of strength. Both tend not to get too aggressive in fights, whether armed or unarmed, and neither usually can stack with them a massive assortment of trade either.

PERCEPTION: (Velvet Remedy) Despite Velvet's Stable-Minded naivety to the wasteland, she is not blind to the ideas that allow her to pursue some questionable acts for all the greater good. Velvet is willing to be keen at hand to some certain situations, but with her kindness and draft sensibility, it often makes it difficult for her to realize who the enemy really is. (Morning Glory) Morning Glory fares somewhat less to Velvet, often being tolerable of the cloak and dagger acts that her Enclave society works upon, not to mention the rule of loyalty to the point of death being something that she both admires and abhors. Nevertheless, despite the obvious signals pointing to the flaws of the Enclave, Glory still stands by them to this day (from what I've read)

ENDURANCE: (BOTH) Again, both are at equal footing when it comes to Endurance, which is average for both. Neither can't stand too many separate hits, both usually can be easily staggered when a random force comes into their way, but at it's magnitude, both are able to resist pain at the average pony joe level.

CHARISMA: (Velvet Remedy) Velvet has the silver tongue, the chastinista, and the unwarranted kindness of Fluttershy to be able to subdue, seduce and persuade almost anyone to what she says. Not to mention that her already inherent beauty make her weak to those admonished by looks. Velvet's ability to stand by what she says, to conjure lies up on the spot masterfully, and brake even on the merchants with her clever words, Velvet is a connoisseur of charisma. (Morning Glory) Morning glory does not fare that much better when it comes to Charisma. Morning is able to keep the peace between her friends and the group, but can not make a successful effort to even convince her special somepony about the issues she's going through. Not to mention that Morning Glory is unable to even convince her own family about the noticable issues with the Enclave.

INTELLIGENCE: (Velvet Remedy) While Velvet does work well as the team's medic, she only has a therapeutic understanding of medicine, usually being sweet and sincere but not having the skilled know-how to properly treat someone in pain. (Morning Glory) Morning Glory, however, knows the ins and outs of the human (er, pony) anatomy and has the training to be able to treat most infections if given the right tools at her disposal. Not to mention that Morning Glory is constantly derided as being the "Boring, Smart Pony" by Scotch Tape.

AGILITY: (Velvet Remedy) Velvet is not casually able to move about on her hooves, as her constant need to keep her team alive and in check distracts her from the increased risk of mortality to herself. Velvet is no sneaky person either, nor rarely uses a weapon to kill most of anything. (Morning Glory) despite Glory being at first reluctant to fire at anything, her ability to fly and strafe most oncoming fire allow her to be a more agile fighter overall. Even with one wing missing, Glory is still capable of fighting neck and neck with any enemy with her powerful ability of using energy weapons.

LUCK: (BOTH) Finally, we come to luck. Once again, both are at a stalemate. Velvet is under the guidance of a phoenix who helps and hinders her at the same exact time, while being usually the victim of perversion by others. ON the other hoof, Morning Glory is dishonored by her entire family and species, while having the fortitude to helping those below the clouds, while being cursed as the very first dashite: Rainbow Dash herself.

YET ANOTHER EDIT: Added the 'tags' section. explanations below:

BARTER VS ENERGY WEAPONS: Velvet's skill in using her sexuality, seduction and charisma allow her to be the silver tongue against the market dealers who would have given Littlepip a bad rate for certain items/ Morning Glory primarily uses energy guns for the most part, with great effect, being able to strafe and continue to deal more damage onward.

MEDICINE VS MEDICINE: Both of these lasses are the medics of the team, with Velvet being the more therapeutic and Morning Glory being the more practical of the duo.

SPEECH VS SCIENCE: Along with Barter, Velvet is also very good at persuasion as well, being able to web lies right from the spot, and convincing ones too/ Morning Glory, dubbed 'the boring pony', is highly interested in the arts of arcane science, often going into long lectures about certain isotopes or whatnot.

NEW EDIT: Fixed how out of center most of the text of all of my older projects are. I also added a subtitle to the subtitle, like what with Odd One Outs.

Morning Glory is by-far the best Enclave Pegasus anypony could ask for: she chose the life of a field medic as opposed to firearms but is not reserved above using Magic Laser Rifles because of this, she offers something to the Pegasi Enclave what Calamity didn't in his foray with Littlepip: an un-corrupted insiders perspective of what Pegasi civilians see the Enclave as opposed to what Dashites suffered through when they were cast out by them. What makes her more likable was that she joined up with Blackjack and 21 on the first day out of Stable 99 just after she and her Wing of the Volunteer Corps touched down only days earlier. Instead of dealing with one person stumbling through the Wasteland by herself trying to find somebody: we have two Stable Dwellers simply traveling together for the sake of mutuality crossing paths with another like them: the chemistry is just so relatable here in Project Horizons with the three of them early on, it also ignores the relationships issue very well early on with none of them displaying any romantic interest in one-another, just treating it professionally with camaraderie: this is a perfect group from the very beginning as three wandering souls that met together early on.

ah, cool info work. Not sure why you bring it up here since I wasn't trying to say whether or not who is better.

traits? Oh, you mean like Trigger Happy or Heavy Handed? Sounds complex, not sure if I have enough space to supply that.

What do you think the tags for Glory are?  Medicine and Energy Weapons are obvious, but what is the third?

tags, eh? Now that is something else I could try too. I think speech would be her next tag.

this looks great but shouldn't morning glory have a rather high perception since she uses energy weapons almost exclusively?

If you are talking about how Perception directly coincides with the skills of using Energy Weapons such as with FO3 and FNV, then yeah, maybe, but I kind of think it more adheres to agility/intelligence rather than perception. I see perception more of observance, know how of the world, spiritually understanding what goes on around you and being receptive to all kinds of sounds and sights.

Don't you think it's kinda silly to make these things when you haven't even read all current chapters of the stories with the characters?

I've finished the original FOE, but not PH. Yes, it may seem so, but sometimes a character's development can be fully closed and rounded before the entire story is completed. By the way, you don't have to take this accurately. It's my own inflection of it.

what do you mean by one? how many of these I make? Because it still doesn't matter how many I make, you don't have to take it accurately.
